PURPOSE: A biomarker for detecting persistent organic pollutants-specific exposure is provided to monitor and determine four kinds of pollutants. CONSTITUTION: A DNA microarray chip for detecting four kinds of persistent organic pollutants-specific exposure contains entire of nucleic acid sequence of Genebank NM_001040078(LGALS9C, similar to galectin 9 short isoform) and Genebank NM_016438(HIGD1B, HIG1 domain family, member 1B) genes, oligonucleotide, or complementary strand molecule thereof. The four kinds are chlordane, hexachlorobenzene, mirex, and toxaphene.
