PURPOSE: A method for evaluating for an optimal design of a building considering environmental load and economics is provided to quantitatively confirm economic effects according to selection of environment-friendly construction techniques. CONSTITUTION: A goal value for a carbon dioxide reduction ratio of an evaluation building according to an standard building is established(S120). Carbon dioxide emission and life cycle costs during the life of the standard building are calculated(S130). Carbon dioxide emission and life cycle costs during the life of the evaluation building are calculated(S140). Carbon dioxide reduction ratio and life cycle costs reduction ratio of the evaluation building are calculated with respect to the standard building(S150).
