The plug has an ignition electrode (1) arranged in an antechamber. An inner conductor supplies voltage to the ignition electrode. An insulator (2) surrounds the inner conductor, and housing. The housing comprises a channel hole (4). The channel hole runs between an outer surface of the housing and the insulator to longitudinal direction of the plug in a diagonal manner. A pipe (8) is arranged in the channel hole between the outer surface of the housing and the insulator. The pipe surrounds a wall surface of the channel hole that is opened from a transverse bore (10).
