A spark plug body (2) comprises inlet and outlet terminals (23, 24) for a coolant line at a posterior end, and coolant channels (33, 37, 38) are arranged in a region of the spark plug body, where the region of the plug body surrounds the annular air chamber. The coolant channels stand in connection with the inlet and outlet terminals.
