PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a validity authentication system and a validity authentication method which enable the third person to efficiently confirm validity of each user without making each user carry a special recording medium for confirmation.;SOLUTION: Reference face image data of affiliates belonging to organizations are distributedly managed by a plurality of server devices provided per organization, and a certificate authority 30 specifies a pertinent server device 40 in response to an authentication request from an authentication terminal 10, and authentication processing is performed on the basis of reference face image data managed by the specified server device 40 and input face image data, and the authentication result is displayed on a display part connected to the authentication terminal 10 being an authentication request source.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
