The system has a cleaning-and/or rinsing module flanged at an inner space of a workpiece by a mechanically-actuated flange (20). Devices for pressurization with fluid are provided over the flange. A control device physically pretreats the fluid in the cleaning-and/or rinsing module or in separate flanged modules with respect to temperature of substance composition and/o pressure, where the separate modules are laterally displaced. The control device pressurizes the fluid in different flow directions, where the fluid is laterally and/or spatially distributed at the flanges. An independent claim is also included for a method for performing cleaning and/or rinsing inner spaces of a workpiece.
