PURPOSE: An online sports game background music providing method and a game client thereof are provided to automatically search for the music files stored in a user's device and easily provide the files as a game's background music.;CONSTITUTION: A game client searches out for at least one music file stored in a user's device (S510). The game client creates or updates the information which includes the list of searched music files and a record that indicates how many times a certain file has been played (S520). The game client creates a background playback list based on the playback record information, the user's choice, or both (S530).
