The base (1) has fluid channels (8, 9) flow-technically connected with one another. Diameter of one of the channels is smaller than diameter of the other fluid channel. The former fluid channel is guided from the latter fluid channel toward chip supports. An arrangement of the chip support is provided such that fluid of the latter fluid channel is made to flow to a chip via the former fluid channel, where the chip is arranged in the chip support. A surface of the base is partially metallized in a region of the chip support. The partial metallization is utilized for arrangement of the chip. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a base (2) a fabrication system for automated production of a base (3) a chip.
