摘要
The object of the present invention is a procedure for the validation of the random-volume-over-ground model hypothesis and its application in the estimation of data in the study and characterization of vegetal coverages through coherent multichannel systems. This type of systems are based on the transmission and reception of electromagnetic waves, from different spatial positions and with different wave polarizations, from which complex images of the earth's surface can be generated. The present invention details a procedure, which first allows to establish the validity of the electromagnetic dispersion model called random-volume-over-ground and secondly its subsequent application for the correct estimation of data in the study and characterization of vegetation coverage on the terrestrial surface, through the analysis of the mathematical properties that said dispersion model imposes on the data acquired by the multichannel system.
