The object of the present invention is a method for validating the hypothesis model Random-Volume-over-ground and its application in the estimation of data in the study and characterization of mulches by multichannel coherent systems. Such systems are based on transmission and reception of electromagnetic waves from different spatial positions and with different polarizations wave, from which can be generated complex images of the surface of the Earth. The present invention details a procedure that first allows establish the validity of the model electromagnetic scattering called Random-Volume-over-ground and secondly their subsequent application for the correct estimation of data in the study and characterization of plant hedges the surface, by analyzing mathematical properties that the dispersion model imposes on data acquired by the multichannel system.
