PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a nursing person to recognize his or her own nursing action by referencing a database, to utilize the recognition for preparation of documents including his or her nursing log, and to be correspondingly alleviated in his or her routine duties.SOLUTION: A nursing action recognition system 100 comprises a mobile terminal 10 carried by a nursing person to output acceleration of the nursing person and a plurality of distance image sensors 12a and 12b disposed on a ceiling. In a space, children and the nursing person are present, and the respective positions and postures of the children and the nursing person can be known from depth information outputted from the distance image sensors 12a and 12b. A central control device 16 of the nursing action recognition system recognizes the acceleration of the nursing person, the nursing actions of the nursing person by utilizing his or her positions and postures and the children's positions and postures. The recognized nursing actions are stored into a database.
