PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiallergic agent, a lipolysis inhibitor, an antioxidant and a human fibroblast proliferation promoter derived from Camellia sasanqua flower, and a novel saponin compound isolated and purified from a Camellia sasanqua flower extract.SOLUTION: The antiallergic agent, the lipolysis inhibitor, the antioxidant and the human fibroblast proliferation promoter each contains Camellia sasanqua flower, the Camellia sasanqua flower extract or the saponin compound isolated and purified from the Camellia sasanqua flower extract as an active ingredient. The novel saponin compound is isolated and purified from the Camellia sasanqua flower extract.
