The present invention relates to a culture method on a plot of annual crop plants, preferably a sales crop or a cash crop. This method consists in implementing at least the following successive operations on said parcel: - a planting seed planting operation, comprising seeds of at least one legume on which at least one rhizospheric microorganism is applied, which at least a rhizospheric microorganism is chosen from rhizosphere microorganisms that are able to inoculate plants derived from said plant cover seeds and said annual crop plants, and - following an implantation phase of the plants resulting from said plant cover seeds, an operation of sowing seeds of said annual crop plants.
