PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sight line retention degree calculation system, a method and a program capable of calculating sight line retention degree while considering the orientation of a user with respect to the orientation in a vertical direction of an object.;SOLUTION: A sight line retention degree calculation system 101 has a server 301, which includes: a sight line detection section that detects the orientation in a parietal-jaw direction of a face; an object detection section that detects an object on the basis of the sight line direction; and a time calculation section that calculates period of time when the user is looking at the object.
