The utility model relates to an installation for extraction of silymarin from the fruits of the Silybum marianum L. Gaerth. The installation comprises a device for mechanical cleaning of the raw material (1), whose exit is alternatively connected to a press for oil removal from raw material (2) or is directly connected to a mill for shredding and grinding the seeds (3), where the exit of the mill (3) is connected to the entrance of the extractor (4), fitted with a reservoir for a diluter (5) and placed in a chamber (6), to the wall of the chamber (6) is mounted the microwave source- a magnetron (7), to the exit of the lower part of the extractor (4) is connected a circulation contour (8), connected to the upper part of the extractor (4) and in the circulation contour (8) are mounted a filter (9), a temperature reader (10), a pump (11), a draining valve (12), a circulation valve (13) and a unit (14) for measuring pH, in which in the extractor (4) is fitted an internal vessel with perforated walls (15), as the circulation contour (8) through draining valve (12) is connected with the collective vessel for the prepared extract (16) and the temperature sensor (10), the pump (11), the draining valve (12) and the circulation valve (13) are connected to an operational block (17). The installation, according to the utility model, accomplishes an extraction for a short period of time, and flavonoids with a high level of extraction are obtained. The level of utilization of active compounds of the end product via the utilized installation is from 80 to 95 %. The created installation allows for a high level of automation and operation. The necessary technological spaces are decreased, as the unit is compact and compatible with all environmental guidelines and requirements. 1 claim, 1 figure
