Provides a method for improving post-transplant viability of a bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell of an old adult. The method comprises: adding a hereditarily stable bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell extracted from a bone marrow of the old adult to a standard nutrient medium comprising 0.5 μmol/L of SRT1720, 5 mM of NAD+, and 20 mM of glutamine; and performing a pre-treatment for 24 hours to obtain a treated bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell for use in cell transplant therapy. The SRT1720 pre-treatment inhibits an exogenous senescence pathway of the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell of the old adult, thereby inhibiting stress-induced senescence of the mesenchymal stem cell. The SRT1720 pre-treated mesenchymal stem cell has improved post-transplant viability in an ischemic myocardial tissue, and provides significantly improved therapeutic efficacy for ischemic cardiomyopathy.
