Provided is a method for preparing a flexible, transparent electrode compounded from metal nanowires and an ionic liquid gel, the preparation method comprising the steps of: 1) metal nanowires are dispersed in a solvent, uniformly stirred and then undergo vacuum self-assembly to prepare a transparent metal nanowire network, and the transparent metal nanowire network is transferred to a polyethylene glycol terephthalate substrate; 2) the transparent metal nanowire network on the polyethylene glycol terephthalate substrate as prepared in step 1) is compounded with an ionic liquid pre-polymerisation liquid by coordination; and 3) the compounded ionic liquid pre-polymerisation liquid is cross-linked and polymerised on the surface of the metal nanowires under illumination or heating or at room temperature conditions to obtain the flexible, transparent electrode compounded from the metal nanowires and the ionic liquid gel. The method is easy to operate and easy to control, requires simple equipment, and can be implemented in large-scale production.
