To provide: a plum alcoholic beverage in which the gorgeous fruit feeling and umami-taste with richness are enhanced; a plum alcoholic beverage base; a method for producing plum alcoholic beverage; and a method for improving flavor of plum alcoholic beverage.SOLUTION: The plum alcoholic beverage according to the present invention is a plum alcoholic beverage containing a plum raw material and in which the content of octanal is 200 to 4000 ppb and the content of fenchor is 40 to 250 ppb.
