To provide: a plum alcoholic beverage in which the gorgeous fruit feeling and umami-taste with richness are enhanced; a plum alcoholic beverage base; a method for producing plum alcoholic beverage; and a method for improving flavor of plum alcoholic beverage.SOLUTION: The plum alcoholic beverage according to the present invention is a plum alcoholic beverage containing a plum raw material and in which the content of octanal is 200 to 4000 ppb and the content of fenchor is 40 to 250 ppb. Further, the plum alcoholic beverage base according to the present invention is a plum alcoholic beverage base containing a plum raw material and in which, when setting the content of octanal of the plum alcoholic beverage base as X ppb, the content of fenchor as Y ppb, and the dilution ratio as D times, X/D is 200 to 4000, and Y/D is 40 to 250.SELECTED DRAWING: None
