To provide an adhesive for temporary stopping a water system containing at least (A) a thermoplastic rein having a hydroxyl group, having excellent temporary stopping performance, as well as coating performance and cissing prevention performance, an adhesive for temporary stopping the water system having function reduction suppression performance of various members and components used for an optical device, an electronic device or the like, an adhesive for temporary stopping a water system having excellent temporary stopping performance as well as coating performance and safety performance, and low in load to environment, and a manufacturing method of members or components using the adhesive for temporary stopping the water system.SOLUTION: There are provided an adhesive for temporary stopping a water system (i) containing (A) a thermoplastic resin or the like having a hydroxyl group and having prescribed melting point, (ii) containing at least the (A) thermoplastic resin having the hydroxyl group, and containing a prescribed metal ion at prescribed content, or (iii) containing the (A) thermoplastic resin having the hydroxyl group and (B) a solvent containing water, and having content of water in the solvent of 95 mass% or more, and prescribed surface tension and adhesive strength at 25°C, and a manufacturing method of members or components using the adhesive for temporary stopping the water system.SELECTED DRAWING: None
