To provide a reversible thermochromic solid writing body capable of forming a thermochromic handwriting exhibiting excellent brilliant even on a writing surface having high brightness.SOLUTION: The reversible thermochromic solid writing body comprises: a reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment containing a reversible thermochromic composition comprising a reaction medium that determines a temperature inducing the coloration reaction of an electron-donating coloration organic compound, an electron-accepting compound and both; a first brilliant pigment; an excipient; a filler; and a binder resin.
