Bongkot field, Thailand

摘要

The paper relates to the development of the Bongkot gas field located offshore in the gulf of Thailand approximately 600 km south of Bangkok and 180 km off the coast, at a water depth 75 to 80 m. It consists of a multitude of small geological structures where gas accumulations are found in multi-faulted reservoirs. The gas is mainly characterized by a high CO2 content (4-50%) and a low condensate yield. Possible improvements or new concepts for future developments are outlined. 3 refs., 6 figs.
