To provide tychite particles which can give products with higher performance by being fine particles, a method for producing the same, a resin composition comprising the tychite particles, and an article thereof.SOLUTION: An embodiment of the present invention relates to tychite particles having a BET specific surface area of 0.5 m/g or more. The cumulative 50% diameter (d) on a volume basis in the particle size distribution of the tychite particles that is obtained by a laser diffraction particle size analyzer is preferably 15 μm or less. The cumulative 90% diameter (d) on a volume basis in the particle size distribution of the tychite particles that is obtained by the laser diffraction particle size analyzer is preferably 30 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
