ADAM EARNS 150 MILLION dollars ORDER FOR NEW JET

Adam Aircraft Industries LLC has received a 150 million dollars order for 75 composite, four-passenger business jets. The order comes from a company that plans to use the jets as an air taxi service. The aircraft's first delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2005. It is one of the first aircraft to take advantage of the new Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) Certification Process Improvement (CPI). CPI enables aircraft makers to reference composite systems already certified by prepreg manufacturers rather than re-certify the systems themselves. CPI also enables FAA and designated third-party technical experts to provide more direction and feedback during the certification process.
