The seafood industry needs a National Seafood Marketing Coalition

The battle over endangered species — caused by global warming, in turn caused by resource extraction emissions — rages in Alaska. Last summer, it was the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. And now it is radiation in the Pacific from Japan. The common denominator in all of this is the effect that NGOs with an agenda, or the media with a slow news day, or a natural or man-made disaster may have on the U.S. seafood industry.
