Variable Lens-Pitch LC GRIN Lens for Adapting 3D Viewing Angle

摘要

For adapting 3D viewing angle to two viewing modes, wider for multi-user and narrower for personal, an electrode design of LC GRIN lens is proposed. Essential electrodes of narrow-pitch non-Fresnel lens and wide-pitch Fresnel lens are extracted as minimum electrode set, and arranged symmetrically. We developed 15-inch 2D/3D display successfully.
