PURPOSE: A 3D image display device including a variable viewing angle patterned retarder by using a photomagnetic thin film is provided to supply a high quality screen for satisfying both a front brightness value and a viewing angle. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(DP) emits light indicating 2D and 3D images to polarization in a first direction. A viewing angle control panel(AVP) is placed on the front of the display panel. A patterned retarder(PR) places a first retarder and a second retarder by turns. The first retarder is placed on the front of the viewing angle control panel and converts the polarization in the first direction into polarization in a second direction. The second retarder converts the polarization in the first direction into polarization in a third direction.
