Seed analysts around the world today are becoming more united through a new society called The International Society of Seed Technologists Inc., (ISST). Established in 1997, the original founding members had a powerful vision: global harmonization for seed analysts by introducing a uniform standard of excellence in seed testing. The Society has quickly gained recognition and momentum in many corners of the world as it promotes the profession of seed technology, for improved seed technologist education, accessibility to an international research community and greater collaboration between seed regulatory agencies and private industry partners.
