Eramet manganese alloy sales down on China cut

Eramet's manganese alloy shipments fell 11% in the first nine months of this year compared with the same period of 2011, and by 11% in the third quarter on Q3 2011, the French producer said Thursday. Nine month shipments reached 543,400 mt, down from 610,300 mt in the year-earlier period, while Q3 shipments fell to 177,200 mt from 199,100 mt.
