Ferrochrome spot prices could improve on China stimulus

Sydney-headquartered International Ferro Metals expects fer-rochrome spot prices to increase by the end of this year on the back of stimulus measures introduced by the new government in Beijing. But demand for chrome ore is expected to remain relatively constant because of the impact of strikes in South Africa on production and slower output in the winter months, it said.
