摘要

Polarographic technique was used to study the real electrode kinetics between dropping mercury electrode and solution interface using Mn2+and doxycycline,chlortetracy-cline,oxytetracycline,tetracycline,minocycline,amoxicillin,chloramphenicol and cephaloglycin at pH = 7.30 +- 0.01,mu= 1.0 M NaClO4 at 25 deg C.Kinetic parameters such as diffusion coefficient (D),transfer coefficient (alpha),degree of irreversibility (X)and rate constant (k)were determined.The values of alpha which varied from to 0.41 to 0.59 (0.50)confirmed that the 'transition state'behaves between reactant and product response to applied potential and it lies in midway between dropping mercury electrode and solution interface.A slight variation in potential affects the rate of the reaction and also the rate constant greatly.
