A SKOS Representation of Synthesis in Hierarchy Classification Schemes Based on Structure-expression Style Theory

Purpose: If the interpretation of an element of Knowledge Organization Systems (KOS) is different, the Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) representation of the element is also different. This paper reveals the SKOS representation of elements related to synthesis in a hierarchy classification scheme based on the interpretation by Structure-expression Style Theory. This theory is different from the conventional ones.
