Quality problems from the 2006 potato crop - analysis and conclusions.

The 2006 potato harvest in Europe was associated with a number of quality problems, including wet rot infestation, abnormal tuber formation and glassiness. This article considers possible factors contributing to these quality defects, incuding effects of climate, irrigation, harvesting and cooling/storage conditions.
