Guidebook Will Help Airports Address Community Responses to Noise

A research project designed to give airport officials tools to better manage community expectations regarding noise is discovering how different expectations, as well as different communication styles, can impact both the process and the outcome. Sponsored by the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) and carried out by Lan-drum & Brown, Guidebook on Community Responses to Aircraft Noise is in the final stages of the editorial process and is scheduled for publication later this year.
