NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR PROFICIENCY TESTING (NAPT)

We have doubled the number of artifacts available for testing, since the last NCSLI Newsletter. There are 32 ILC/PTs in distribution, with 14 additional tests in development. Due to increasing demand we have added several artifacts to decrease test backlog. In some cases we have 3 of the same type of artifact in circulation. Some of the new tests being developed based on customer needs are: thread wires, torque sensor, pin gages, taper gage and inductors. Look for these soon. We also have a Fluke 732B DC Reference Standard and are working with Fluke to have this artifact available to those of you needing this level of performance. On our web site , you'll find an ILC/PT Wish List available for your input and comments. We use this to help prioritize the development of new and/or additional tests. We appreciate your input.
