Product quality is an important component determining whether the consumer makes the first buy and then repeat purchases. This applies to the purchase of automobiles, electronic goods, clothes and food, especially for mushrooms. For the mushroom, quality depends on a number of factors including their genetics (or the strain grown), how the mushrooms are grown (the agronomy: compost quality, growing environment), how the mushrooms are picked and treated between harvest and sale.
