Preservation's half-century is to be celebrated by a landmark gala meeting of 'old' and 'new'. Bluebell - 50, the celebration of 50 years of the Bluebell Railway on the 6-8 August 2010, has been earmarked for a great landmark event of modern preservation. The event, sponsored by Steam Railway magazine, will signify 50 years of standard gauge preservation.
