The Thai Energy Ministry has cut retail prices for gasohol 91 and E-20 through a cut in the Oil Fund levies. The levy on gasohol 91 has been reduced to THB0.10 ($1=THB29.932) from THB1.40 resulting in a retail price of THB30.40 per litre. For E-20, the retail price ended at THB29.44 after a 20% cut in the Oil Fund levy. This widens the gap between gasohol 91 and regular gasoline to THB6.30 per litre and should stimulate stagnating gasohol 91 sales. The Oil Fund levy on gasohol 95 was cut by THB0.40 per litre to THB2.40 but its retail price remained at THB32.84.
