The method involves selecting goods in a sales hall with self-service for buying by a respective customer. Purchased goods packages and basic price of the packages are determined, and the retail price corresponding to goods selected by the customer is calculated. Time is measured when the customer is in the sales hall. The calculation of the retail prices takes place in the algorithm in consideration of the measured time.
