EPA EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR RFS COMPLIANCE BY SEVEN MONTHS

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said it plans to extend the reporting deadline for compliance with its biofuels program, the annually-set Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), by seven months, in an effort to get the program "back on track." EPA will propose pushing the deadline for the compliance report for the 2013 RFS to January 31, 2016 from June 1, 2015, the agency said.
