NEXT BIODIESEL AUCTION ON FEBRUARY 27, 2009

The National Petroleum Agency (ANP) said the 13th biodiesel auction would be on February 27, 2009. It comprises a 252 mln litre lot for authorised producers purchasing then-oilseeds partly from small family farmers (Combustivel Social) and a 63 mln litre lot for authorised biodiesel producers who do not participate in the program. The reference price will be BRL2.36 ($1=BRL2.39) per litre.
