While resources-orientated news concerning "Diamond" Joe Gutnick doesn't appear in the press as regularly as it once did, there is a compelling case that the former high flyer will both live up to his nickname and finish fulfilling a prophecy some time in the future. It is common knowledge (or legend at least) that the late New York-based Rabbi Menachem Mendal Schneerson once predicted that Gutnick would make diamond and gold discoveries in Western Australia - something which no doubt has helped motivate the former Victorian mining magnate. The erstwhile nickel laterite miner has already overseen the development of gold operations in WA and now seems to be more or less focused on finding diamonds.
