BUSINESS IN THE NINETY'S AND BEYOND: QUALITY IS CRITICAL

The researcher presents a brief review of business and ?ndustry over the past two decades, through the eyes f Peter Drucker. Examined are studies of a number of diverse writers to develop key elements of the future of business, over the next few years and beyond, and briefly looks at Total Quality Management '(TQM) as the beginning of applying those key elements to the world of work. The researchers prime concern in this study is management and the social aspect of business and in-dustry in. the future. The study attempts to bring to-sete a number of diverse, yet credible perspectives on where the world of business and industry is headed later.in the 199O's, and then beyond, into the 21st century, to determine if Total Quality Management (TQM) is a viable approach to that future.
