摘要

A summary of the main issues and results of a DSE-ATSAF workshop held in Germany, 1994, is presented. The four main areas addressed were: (i) urban vegetable production: a new challenge to agriculture and food policy; (ii) constraints for periurbanand urban vegetable production; (iii) location specific issues of urban agriculture; and (iv) recommendations (concerns and goals, principles, programme components, regional particularities and project identification and implementation).
