An idea created one cold January morning has blossomed into a new greenhouse program for a residential school for troubled Winnipeg teenagers. The Knowles Centre School's new greenhouse was officially opened in September with a family-style picnic One of the highlights included a presentation of a plaque to John Schriemer of Schriemer's Greenhouses & Garden Centre as a way of thanking the grower for making the program possible.
