Eufloria Flowers offers an upscale rose

DURING THE LATE 1990s Andy Koch and his late wife Norine were looking to change the image of their fresh cut rose-growing operation in Nipomo, Calif., founded in 1984 as Koch Mesa Nursery. The Kochs, like other domestic cut flower growers, were feeling jncreasing pressure from imports that were taking a bigger share of the U.S. market. The Kochs took drastic measures and did three things: created a new company name (Eufloria Flowers), designed a new logo and decided to focus on premier boutique hybrid roses.
