Local vegetable seed companies join forces

As of this month one of Australia's last surviving traditional vegetable seed companies - Melbourne-based Henderson Seed Group - was integrated into the international seed industry. From that date Henderson and Clause Tezier Australia operates as a single sales team in Australia and New Zealand. The move follows the recent agreement of Henderson Seed Group's minority shareholders (including Andrew and Peter Henderson) to sell their shareholding to Groupe Limagrain through a phased program of divestment during the next three years. The Henderson shareholders are expected to occupy continuing roles within the group.
