Angola LNG nameplate capacity not expected before 2016 - IEA report

The Angola LNG project, which is currently shut down and undergoing repairs, will not reach its nameplate capacity of 5.2 mtpa of LNG until 2016, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA) in its Africa Energy Outlook published on Monday, raising doubts over claims by operator Chevron that the plant could restart by the middle of next year.
