AN AUDIENCE of over 120 gave up the opportunity to find out who killed Lucy Beale in Eastenders to enjoy another great battLe in the Lions' Lair at the joint IGEM and Pipeline Industries Guild (PIG) London Showcase Event, The event was again held at the impressive Victory Services Club, near Marble Arch, and was hosted by David Goodall, Senior Engineer (Gas) EDF Energy. IGEM President Simon Ayley opened the evening before the five contestants entered the Lions' Lair. The distinguished 'Lions' consisted of Robert Murray, Sector Director of Skanska Utilities, Michael Caulfield, Director of Gas at McNicholas Construction and Andrew Hunt, Head of Innovation at Morrison Utility Services.
