Ian Willis' Dorset garden is an eclectic mix of salvage-yard treasures and his own exotic creations. He explains to Liz Walker where he gets his inspiration. Few suburban gardens can boast a shell-lined grotto, a Jubilee obelisk, statues of Hindu gods, cherubs and trumpet-blowing mermen... but then this is a garden of flamboyant fantasy - a place where owner Ian Willis has let his imagination run riot. "The garden didn't follow any overall plan," he explains. "It was all in my head. I just sat in the garden, closed my eyes and thought about how I could fit it all in. I tend to visualise things in _3D - rather than work things out on paper.
