The first methanol plant in the South Caucasus will be com- missioned by the end of the year, according to News.Az. The Azerbaijan Methanol Co. has planned test production for early 2013. The plant is expected to make 560,000 tonnes at the first stage of producing capacity, reaching 720,000 tonnes within the first six months, according to the report.
